My husband is an outdoorsman...He knows how to fish, hunt, camp, bike, and even build and fix things...His favorite recreational sports might be fishing and hunting...When it comes to biking, he has a Cannondale bike and all the recommended gear to ride it...And although he likes to run he's never been a marathon runner...
I'm no runner, but I'm good for a walk-a-thon although I prefer rebounding...As far as creative talents, I enjoy cooking, baking, crocheting and sewing...Having a large family doesn't allow me much time for the recreational things that I would like to do...
Did you hear about that nearly 39-weeks pregnant lady that completed the Chicago Marathon...Her name is Amber Miller and after her doctor's consent she entered and then finished the race in 6 hours, 25 minutes and 50 seconds...Walking half and running half was the technique that her doctor recommended... Accompanied by her husband, that's just what she did to complete the race (with random contractions coming near the end)...Although her husband was with her for most of the race, he actually fell behind and she beat his time...She was cheered on with crazy comments like "Go pregnant lady"...So after completing the marathon, she grabbed a sandwich and headed for the hospital to give birth to a 7 lb, 13 oz baby girl...Click here for Chicago Marathon results...
